But as the riding vehicles, Multistrada very comfortable, even for light off-road use. This specification is considered by Paul Berry, a modification enthusiast from London, suitable for customized. He wants to deflect the destiny of 2004 Multistrada 100DS, which is famous as the two-terrains explorers become a motorcycle that sporty and light for inner city use.

Then Berry sent his motorbike to Spain, to be modified in Ad Hoc Cafe Racers owned by David Gonzales. He believes, Gonzales works was different, original, and very classy on the finishing.

"I had the idea of adapting the fuel tank of Hypermotard, then modify to adjust the back section. But not good. Then we both tried to sketch again as an alternative for a couple of weeks," said Berry.

Once the sketch is completed, Gonzales made custom tank of clay first. After that try to make a tubular frame. Its design maintain Ducati's stout traditional aesthetics through the typical framework, though encouraged to bring a modern feel.

To keep the motorcycle looks clean, its fuel-pump placed behind the tank. The position of the battery is also relocated more hidden. The new cable lines made special lines with very neat and simple workmanship. The original air filter was removed, while for engine breathing through the more compact new filter.

Lamps made like a box of soap, to be more coherent with the frame. While the handlebars dominated by the Easton 35 mm wide handlebars.

Then the bike fitted with a solo seat. But Berry preparing another option, which can be installed additional seat on the sub-frame. Its tail taper with LED lights are extremely small. In order to further good use for urban swerving, Berry added the tires of Michelin Anakee 3s.

As a builder, David Gonzalez is increasingly proving that his original work can be proud of, because he managed to combine the aesthetics of design, technology, and color.
