Meet SLR Sterling Moss Edition

Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss Edition is the Mercedes-Benz sports car (Speedster) which produced in collaboration with McLaren.

The supercar was unveiled at the 2009 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, USA. The car design is inspired by the 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SLR that driven by a British legendary racer named Sir Stirling Moss.

The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss Edition entered production between June and December of 2009 and became the last SLR variations to be produced by McLaren with Mercedes-Benz. Never imagined that you could drive this car in the rain condition because this car is absolutely do not have roof and windshield.

The production run is limited to 75 units and only certain selected customers that can purchase it. And fitted with the 5.4-liter supercharged V-8 engine will make the same 641 hp as the 722 Edition. Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss uses a lightweight carbon-fiber framework, carbon-ceramic brake discs and many others features.
The car will be approximately 200 kg lighter than the regular model. For the speed, the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss can take 0-100 kph (62 mph) in 3.5 seconds while the maximum speed can reach 349 kph (217 mph). Wow !!! *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | CAR AND DRIVER]
