Late afternoon at the Earth, the Sun is on the west side and the light blue sky with little white clouds. What about Mars? A graphic designer and space enthusiasts, Jason Major. "I put it in Photoshop, combining with the help of the object as a marker, a little cleaning, then simply crop yield, and do a bit of cloning in the bottom right image to fill in the blanks," he told Universe Today, on Friday, March 28, 2014. Based on the illustrations made by Major, evening atmosphere on Mars is different from Earth. On Mars, a more nuanced yellow afternoon. In Kimberley, the scenery in the afternoon is dominated by the dust and sand stone. Late afternoon in the region arid and scorching.

Curiosity is a spacecraft that owned by National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is exploring Mars since August 2012. Mastcam itself is one of camera that is owned by Curiosity, it capable of taking images and high resolution color video.

Five Mastcam photos which are then processed to generate a panoramic afternoon on Mars was taken on Thursday, March 27, 2014. At that time, Curiosity was in the Mars region called the Kimberley. And as a target is Mount Sharp.

The team of scientists who run the Curiosity mission plans to conduct drilling in sandstone in the Kimberley. Drilling will be carried out with CHIMRA instrument, an instrument similar to a shovel and reservoirs. Curiosity mission been almost two years in the Mars. In addition to photos, this robot rover also managed to uncover valuable facts about Mars, including the presence of water on the red planet. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | UNIVERSE TODAY]
