Is the Barracuda's legend came back..?

Barracuda is one of the models of the American muscle car that was legendary in the 1970s under the Plymouth brand which is also a division of the Chrysler and made between 1964 to 1974. The legend car used a 426 Hemi V8 engines. Maybe that's why Chrysler as the parent company decided to make it back in the form of a concept vehicle under the Dodge or another brand such as SRT.

The 2015 Barracuda is one of the new concepts brought out by the company and is one of the concept cars that is intended to be made a reality after all. This car is more of a mystery as yet but is very likely to be one of the most established models of the Dodge Company after its second model.

The new Barracuda is initially expected to replace the Dodge Challenger series and be its successor but with time, it is expected and anticipated that the car will be a model of its own and would not be linked to any other model previously manufactured by the Dodge Company.

The 2015 Barracuda has a much better structure and performance as compared to the 2014 version of this very car and a lot of improvements on many levels has made sure that people who are likely to buy the car would be happy with what they get. The first thing that was done by the manufacturers was reducing the weight of the car and makes it lighter and faster to improve performance and efficiency.

What is believed is that the 2015 Barracuda will have two engines, a standard Pentastar V6 engine, and an option 5.7 Hemi V8, both of which will be directly injected. The company is also likely to provide the car with a 6.2L supercharged Hemi engine which will have a power range of around 580 hp to 660 hp. The car manufacturers have done their best in the regard of making the car super-fast and a luxury drive, side by side keeping in mind the environmental factors and economy conditions related to the ride.

The 2015 Barracuda has a much improved exterior appearance with an improved aerodynamic structure which is intended to allow for better speeds and efficiency. The interior would again be state of the art with the most comfortable seats so as to have a pleasure drive and enjoy driving throughout.

Various interior features are meant to enhance the experience and it will act an attraction to buyers. The major attraction for the people would always be the speed and thrill provided by the car, and the stylish design makes the car look like a super model car. The prices of the 2015 Barracuda are likely to be in the range of around U.S. $60,000 but exact figures are yet to be announced.

But later, Ralph Gilles, SRT Boss denies Barracuda revival rumors, as reported by Autoevolution, on Tuesday, February 11, 2014. Alhtough he admits the Barracuda is a "romantic" and a "very storied" name, Gilles stresses that such a vehicle would be significantly different and smaller from the existing vehicles in the SRT lineup - Dodge Challenger, Charger and Chrysler 300. Bringing it back would require a new platform, which wouldn't make much financial sense..*** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | AUTOEVOLUTION | LEFT LANE]
