"Hand of God" portrayed by NASA

National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) captures the image of "Hand of God" with the Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array (NuSTAR). As reported by IB Times on Friday, January 10, 2014, the Hand of God was within 17,000 light-years from Earth, and is located in the constellation Circinus.

The image captured by NASA looked like a left hand holding a red outer material. Although named after the Hand of God, the image actually shows a cloud in the sky material ejected by the star that exploded in a supernova.

NASA first detected the hand of God with the Chandra X-Ray Observatory in 2009, when the object was described as a small object with a diameter of 19 km. Object called a pulsar with a very young age. NASA named the object as PSR B1509-58, or B1509 for short.

Astronomers believe that the B1509 has an intense magnetic field, about 15 trillion times greater than the Earth's magnetic field. The hand of God was first imaged with X-rays Hand looks blue and the lower-energy light look green and red.
The hand might look like an X-ray from the doctor's office, but it is actually a cloud of material ejected from a star that exploded. NASA's NuSTAR spacecraft has imaged the structure in high-energy X-rays for the first time, shown in blue. Lower-energy X-ray light previously detected by NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory is shown in green and red. (Picture from: http://www.space.com/)
"These particles interact with the magnetic field around the material so it sparkles in the X-ray image," the NASA statement. "The result is a cloud in the previous image looks like an open hand. The pulsar itself is not visible in this image, but it is located near a bright white point," added NASA.

Then, why was the pulsars interacting with the material it looks like a hand? "The northern part where the hand-like structure is located more than shrinking the southern part, where the bursts is located, shows two physically different areas," said NASA.

"Red Cloud at the end of the finger-like structure is a different structure, called RCW 89. Astronomers argued, the pulsar wind heats the cloud, causing it sparkles in the low-energy X-rays," said NASA... *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | IB TIMES]
