The 5-Supercars on "Need for Speed​​" movie

The most popular racing games in the world "Need For Speed," will be made into a movie. As reported by Inautonews on Monday, April 8, 2013, currently Dreamworks Studio is conducting the process of shooting the film which will be released on Feb. 7, 2014. The "Need For Speed" (NFS) film would be involved more supercars or even hypercars that has incredible power. With the types and numbers are also quite a lot, but there are five units that were prominent in this film which will show the action of McLaren P1, Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, Saleen S7, Koenigsegg Agera R, and GTA Spano.

Along with the game development, now the NFS started better known as racing game that uses the exotic supercar in its games series. During the filming that took place in Mendocino County, California, United States looks several supercars that was prepared in the film making site.

The NFS film was directed by Scott Waugh a director who at the beginning of this year working on the "Act of Valor" film, assisted by George and John Gatins as script writer. While Dominic Cooper will compete acting with Aaron Paul.
 
The film storyline: Fresh from jail, a street racer who was framed by a wealthy business associate joins a cross country race with revenge in mind. His ex-partner, learning of the plan, places a massive bounty on his head as the race begins.

1. McLaren P1
The rivalry and revenge aroma are also become core part of the story that involves line of supercars such as McLaren P1 supercar, the successor of the McLaren F1. The McLaren P1 uses 3.8-liter V8 twin-turbo engine, which can generate power of 737 hp (542 kW) and peak torque of 531 lb-ft (720 Nm) is used the rear wheels drive.

The car also fitted an electric motor to help the wheels movement that can generate power of 132 kW or equivalent 179 hp and torque reaches 192 lb-ft (260 Nm). 2. Bugatti Veyron Super Sport
While the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, a production of Bugatti Automobiles SAS and Volkswagen Group. The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport was the world’s fastest production car record holder with the speed of 431 kph (267 mph). This supercar is equipped with quad-turbocharged W16 engine-charger with capacity of 8.0 liters.

This engine is capable of producing power of 1,200 hp, with torque of 1,500 Nm. Only 30 of the ultra-rare, ultra-quick and ultra-pricey Bugatti Veyron Super Sports will be built as a final send off to one of the most coveted and extreme modern cars built. (Jump to related article).

3. Koenigsegg Agera R
Other cars such as the Koenigsegg Agera R that was assemble in Angelholm, Scania, Sweden and categorized as a two-door targa top sports car. Which uses a V8 engine that has capacity of 5.0 liter twin turbo. The supercar's engine was capable of producing a total output of 1,115 hp and reaches maximum torque of 885 lb-ft, and the Agera R could hit a top speed of 418 kph (260 mph).

As the Agera R is a flexfuel car, it can also be run on normal petrol. As 95 octane fuel has less octane than ethanol E85, the power is reduced to 960 hp with 1,100 Nm of torque due to the boost pressure and ignition timing being altered to match the fuel characteristics. 4. GTA Spano
Meanwhile, the GTA Spano is equipped with a supercharged V10 engine which has a capacity of 8.4 liters. This machine will be capable of spraying power of 900 hp, and could be accelerate from 0-100 kph in just 2.9 seconds. The supercar manufactured in Valencia, Spain in limited quantities since 2010, has an engine and rear-wheel drive system layout with 7-speed manual transmission and has a maximum speed record of 350 kph (217 mph).

In addition to a great engine, chassis technology was a combination of carbon fiber, titanium, and kevlar so it is very lightweight, yet sturdy and strong. Aerodynamic design is the work of Spanish designer Sento Pallardo. (Jump to related article).

5. Saleen S7
For the Saleen S7, which assembled in Irvine, California, USA. The supercar is the successor to the successful Saleen S7 Twin Turbo. This supercar has a 2-door coupe body style. And the car carrying the Ford 427 engine a massive 7.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, the S7 could pump out 750 horsepower and could be accelerate from 0-100 kph in just 3.2 seconds.

With the the rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive system lay out and uses 6-speed manual transmission.
